El Granada Elementary is lucky to have an incredibly dedicated staff, and an amazing community. We have so many events going on through the year for our kids, from movie nights to book fairs, the talent show, the sweetheart dance, our amazing Art and Science week and the list goes on. Scroll below to see all the things your kids will participate in during their school year. Every one of these events is run purely by parent volunteers, and we need your help to make it happen.

Even if you can only contribute an hour or two to help set up the sweetheart dance, bring donuts to Wake Up and Read, or make leis for fifth grade promotion please do get in touch! Every little bit of help keeps these opportunities open for our kids. You can hear about small jobs and one-off volunteering opportunities by joining this email list.

Extra volunteer clearance such as fingerprinting and mandatory reporter training are no longer required by the district as of April 2025 - we will keep you updated if this changes! Thank you to everyone who went through this process to volunteer in the school during 2024/25, we appreciate you!
